FULL SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN
How does the full service interior design process work, you ask? I’ll tell you!
Every full service project begins with a design meeting of up to 2 hours in your home. We’ll discuss your goals, style preferences, and the financial investment you’d like to make. During this session, I’ll offer initial design suggestions and work with you to develop a preliminary furnishings plan (i.e., a list of the pieces/materials you’ll need and where they’ll go). If your project includes renovations, we’ll discuss these plans too. After this meeting I’ll send you a detailed project proposal, which will include:
a summary of my ideas for your space
your preliminary furnishings plan
visuals like color palettes and inspiration images
a quote for my design services
an estimate for any new furnishings (e.g., furniture, accessories, window treatments, wall coverings, etc.)
detailed information on the design process and timeline
This proposal isn’t just an email with a few bullet points. It’s chock full of valuable information. It represents the beginning of your design plan, and it’s yours to keep no matter what.
Design meeting fee: $500*
*If you decide to move ahead with a full service design package within 6 months of this meeting, $200 will be credited toward your full service fee. Full service design fees vary based on the scope of the project. Contact me for more details on pricing.
Once you accept the proposal…
…the real fun begins! Here’s how the design process works.
1. The Groundwork
I’ll come back to your home to discuss your reactions to your proposal. We’ll have further in-depth conversations about your style preferences and all of your functional needs. I’ll ask lots of questions to make sure we’re on the same page. I’ll also take detailed measurements of your space so that we can make sure everything will fit perfectly.
2. Design Development
I’ll source every item you need to create a space that you’ll love - furniture, rugs, paint, wallpaper, lighting, window treatments, art, accessories, and more! I’ll provide you with a design presentation that includes physical material samples, 2D design boards, and 3D models that will help you envision the final finished space. We’ll tweak this design until you’re 100% satisfied! And if your design plan includes any renovations, you’ll also receive technical drawings for your contractor or tradespeople.
3. Implementation
I’ll order all furnishings, track expenses and order fulfillment, and make sure everything arrives in tip-top shape. I’ll communicate with contractors or tradespeople as needed, troubleshoot delivery issues, and stick with you until the very last accessory arrives. After everything is delivered, I’ll style the finished space and make sure that every last detail is picture perfect!
